Bogota, Colombia.-within the framework of the campaign “Let us get into the shoes of the refugees and displaced persons, and take the first step to understand their situation”, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), held on 15 December, Christmas with children displaced in Soacha, a year after the launch of the campaign at Colombia and all the American countries.

In 2011, the international community and civil society of Mexico, Costa Rica, Geneva, Brazil, Spain, among other countries, welcomed the campaign, to reinforce the message of local integration towards uprooted people and fight against discrimination and intolerance towards these people.
