Usually Choose Shoes For Their Aesthetics

Usually choose shoes for their aesthetics, for savings, sometimes we opt for those sneakers that do breathe your feet. In all these cases, wrong and they’ll be back in the future. According to data presented at the last Congress of the Italian Association of Chiropodists (AIP), seven out of ten elders have foot problems. The most frequent are your fingers with a hammer, nails, ingrown hallux valgus, corns, warts, flat feet. And it is not never “simple” aesthetic problems, because they are disorders that can cause pain by preventing even to walk.

The advice

We should, first of all, always wear well-made shoes that fit your foot perfectly, not too tight and without shaking excessively. Women should minimize the use of high heels and wedges. The sneakers also should be used only for physical activity, because they reduce the transpiration of the foot; any kind of shoe, moreover, should not be taken for more than two consecutive days. You should buy shoes in the afternoon, when the foot is more fatigued and puffy, choosing a measure that will be comfortable then throughout the day. Yes to cotton stockings, which however should not be tight and constricting the foot or leg. Do not remove the texture with improvised instruments or with the callifughi, because if they are not applied properly may harm the healthy tissue around it. And above all, walk, walk, walk.

The case of diabetics

Diabetics should also wear comfortable shoes which remains space to move your fingers. Never renounce garters which should be soft, not too thin and devoid of seams to avoid skin lesions. Blood glucose damages the blood vessels of the ends, so much so that today are still many needed amputations in diabetics. From 2003 to 2009 there have been 7,000 amputations that 95% were suffered by people over. Yet a proper hygiene of the foot of the elderly could prevent 60%. It is advisable for those suffering from diabetes, go to the Podiatrist at least every two months.

To relieve the body something, the concerned professionals therefore, be careful to wear flat shoes with a soft inner sole, which have a soft fit at work. It was good too, to wear compression stockings, because then the blood cannot circulate better.

In addition, it is helpful to change the attitude again and again while working. Employees about could put one foot on a step or footrest or in between seesaw on the feet. And one important tip for pause: during the free time, workers not only in the transmitted, but also in the very literal sense should put up the legs.
