Kick off the season in style with cowboy boots. Cowboy boots have made a return to the trendy shoe scene by celebs like Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears. Simpson loves cowboy boots so much she even included some in her very own clothing line. Sleek narrow toe and high heel have a feel of feminine essence with a rustic edge.

Rounded toe heels are a perfect way to dress up anything and give it a sophisticated 50’s feel, while new colors and textures add a funky edge that say these aren’t your grandmother’s pumps.

    Bohemian Sandals

Summer is upon us and now is the time to bare all; your feet that is. Whether it’s slipping on a pair of flip-flops to go to the beach in or sport sandals for that beach volleyball game your feet are going to be exposed this summer. Sandals are synonymous with summer, so you might as well dress those feet up in this sizzling heat. Bohemian sandals are in as summer’s hottest footwear. Jewels and beads to accent that pedicured foot of yours. In all different colors and styles, they can be paired to match any outfit and handbag. Seen on the likes of Jennifer Garner and Melania Trump, these flat beauties can be for that special night out or for just running errands. You will be walking in style, no matter what the occasion. Run out and get yours today so you are not left standing out in the Bohemian breeze!

Patent leather is the look for fall, especially in hot colors like red to spice up a boring outfit. Peep-toes are also making a comeback from the 40’s!

88 and a Half Ways to Make Your Sole Happy!

As a budding shoe fanatic, I was elated to stumble upon www.88andahalf.com. While I’ve visited several websites that had a variety of shoes, this was the first that I’ve seen that really emphasized a variety of collections - and they all seem so personable!

When I checked out the About Us page, I liked reading what was behind each collector’s inspiration. Can’t do that when walking in to a brick-and-mortar store and just pulling a shoe off the shelf.

They also have lots of my favorites: Carlos by Carlos Santana, 3 Ladies and a Shu, Coloriffics, Latico, Nine West - AND they have accessories, too. Between the Sydne St. Roix designer handbags and the J Lo and Anne Klein watches, I just hit a gold mine!

I’m also picky about return policies as I’ve had some bad experiences. Theirs? 30 days. Perfect. The best part is that I just cut my Christmas to do list in half. I’ve spent many years in the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping, and it is exhausting, quite frankly. Now with 88 and a half, I can just sit back in my living room and surf my list away Needless to say, this also comes in handy when I need to shop for other special occassions. On top of that, they have “freeshoesforbride” where the bride gets her shoes free when the bridesmaids get shoes from 88 and a half. (Happens to be good information for my friends of course). Anyway now, I have 88 and a half ways to make my sole happy (and my pocket)! I’d highly recommend it to my fellow shoe fanatics! Happy shopping.
